Scope:
The restoration of the Lafayette Square Fire Station was sponsored in part by a state grant from the Massachusetts Preservation Projects Fund. It included restoration of removed dormer, a new green roof slate to match the existing slate, new historic overhead doors and windows, reconstruction of cornice and gutter details, a new lowered concrete floor slab, ADA access and toilet rooms, historic masonry repointing, and new drainage masonry repointing.
