Location: Methuen, MA
Scope: Franco Garofalo, principal of LPBA/ Architects, Inc., collaborated with the city of Methuen in a grass-roots effort to preserve and convert a single-family home (circa 1850) which was part of a large estate owned by the Tenney family.
The Tenney Gate House was converted to a community museum that exhibits local and regional arts dating back to the colonial period. Mr. Garofalo worked closely with the Tenney Gate House Foundation in the research for historic documentation and design process.
